LLR Ask A Punk App Privacy Policy

Ask A Punk is an event discovery app operated by life.lair.regret. Records (LLR Records). This policy explains how information is handled when you use the Ask A Punk app or submit a gig.

Information collected by the app

Ask A Punk does not require users to create an account.

Users manually select a city to view relevant events. Ask A Punk does not access or collect the device’s precise or approximate location.

The app does not use advertising trackers or analytics services and does not intentionally collect or store users’ IP addresses. Our hosting and technical service providers may temporarily process basic technical request information where necessary to operate, maintain and secure the service.

Gig submissions

Users may voluntarily submit gigs for consideration. A submission may include:

  • Event name, date and location

  • Event flyer or poster

  • Artists or performers

  • Event tags and other event details

  • Any additional information voluntarily included by the submitter

Submissions are emailed to an authorised representative of LLR Records. The information is used to review the event and, where appropriate, publish its details within Ask A Punk.

Users should not include unnecessary personal or sensitive information in a submission or flyer.

How information is used

Information provided through gig submissions is used only to:

  • Review and verify submitted events

  • Contact the submitter if clarification is required, where contact information has been provided

  • Publish relevant event information in Ask A Punk

  • Maintain the accuracy and operation of the service

LLR Records does not sell users’ personal information.

Sharing of information

Submitted information is accessible to authorised representatives of LLR Records and may be processed by the email, hosting and infrastructure providers used to operate Ask A Punk.

Event details and flyers accepted for publication may be displayed publicly within the app.

Information will not otherwise be shared except where required by law or necessary to protect the service and its users.

Storage, retention and deletion

Gig submissions may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to review, publish and maintain event information. Emails and associated submission records may also be retained for operational or record-keeping purposes.

You may request the correction or deletion of personal information included in a submission by contacting us using the details below. Some publicly available event information may be retained where required for legitimate operational, legal or archival purposes.

Security

Reasonable measures are taken to protect submitted information from unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Children’s privacy

Ask A Punk is not designed to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, please contact us so that it can be reviewed and removed where appropriate.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the app, its services or applicable requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when changes are made.
